Youths are very critical to the development of every society and the world at large. Without educated and empowered youths, no society can have the needed peace and stability to enable development.
The importance of engaging young men and young women in shaping lasting peace was recognized by the adoption of UNSCR 2250 in December 2015. This global policy emphasized youth inclusion into institutions and mechanism for conflict prevention, resolution and building sustainable peace.
