Zaccheus Onumba Dibiaezue Memorial Libraries recently launched new Oasis Libraries in Aguorji Primary School, Central Nursery & Primary School, Ozalla Primary School, Umuanugo Community Primary School and Afor-Igwe Primary School, all in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra state. These libraries were launched on November 30, 2018.

The Libraries were commissioned by the Chairman, Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB) Chief Nnemeka Olisa and the Education Secretary of Dunukofia Local Government Area Mrs Francisca Uchenna.

It is a fact that a library is essential in any educational institution, this is the reason we set up libraries in schools so that the pupils can have access to books.

The establishment of Oasis libraries is aimed at providing public school pupils with reading materials to help improve reading and promote self-learning irrespective of their background or constraints. These libraries are stacked with subject textbooks, fiction and non-fiction titles to broaden the minds of the pupils and make them book lovers.

The commissioning of the libraries was a great success; the pupils were excited about their new library and expressed this in their cultural performances.
