Sleeping by Dave Agboola
Sleeping, sleeping, all I know,
When the world is turned a grave,
When the flesh is sure of rest,
What immortal man in cave!
Sleeping, sleeping all is calm,
When the man becomes a ghost,
When his people run from him,
What a work of God is lost!
Sleeping, sleeping here it ends,
Ups and down in world of vain
Which belongs to world alone,
What a pain for man – no gain!
