Time to do some reading, and this weekend I will be finishing up Tropical Fish by Doreen Baingana (it was this month's book recommendation). After reading the summary, I can't wait to get to the end. I also recommend reading up on the Eyo Festival (why is it called a play?). I also recommend that you check out our ZODML Newsletter, lots of things going on with us. - Ayodele Dele-Giwa April showers or April floods whichever it is, the rainy season has begun. I would rather stay indoors this weekend and take hot beverages to cool me off while I settle in a sofa with Fern Michaels’ Seasons of her Life. The book is all about Ruby’s life from childhood to adulthood. Ruby is surely going to grow into a fine woman if she follows her head and not her heart, as her heart might mislead her but her head would serve as a guide through summer, autumn and winter. - Morayo Oshodi As there are a thousand and one benefits in watching football matches, I am devoting my time this weekend into watching different football matches taking place across Europe, notably of which is the match between Arsenal Football Club and the recently crowned champion of the English Premiership League, Manchester United. - Dave Agboola I’ve neglected my books over the past couple of weeks, so I plan to catch up on reading for pleasure this rainy weekend. First, I need to finish This Side of Paradise by F Scott Fitzgerald (which I might follow up with The Great Gatsby – have you seen the trailer for the Baz Luhrmann film by the way? Amazing!), followed by the spy novel Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (which also has a film version) and finally, time permitting, Junot Diaz’s This Is How You Lose Her. If you haven’t already read it, pick up a copy of his novel The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. It's one of ZODML’s must-read works of fiction. - Mena Odu Our editors are doing a lot of reading this weekend. What are you reading? Leave a comment and let us know!
